Introduction

Tactician's Calculator is a tool developed for TFT (Teamfight Tactics) that can determine unit DPS (damage per second) and find differences in item DPS. Create a board with your favorite units and figure out new ways to improve them in preparation for your next TFT game. Currently includes every unit and craftable item! Many augments, powerups, and other item types are implemented with more to come.

How to use it

By default there are 12 unit slots on the board. Click Edit and change the unit, star level, powerup, and items. Then go to the fight settings page where you can change whatever is relevant to your unit/board. You can also change the time when the stats are collected. You can then go to the stats page to look at their various stats and go to the item dps comparison page to look at the differences that items have in terms of damage.

How it works

Every unit has a basic set of events for their attacks and casts and take turns dealing damage to an invisible, invincible target dummy. The calculator then determines the target dummy's total damage reduction based on its resistances and applies that to the damage to get the total post mitigated damage. The calculator assumes the following:

Units don't move
Units don't change targets
Units only attack the dummy they dont hit each other
Units never take damage
Due to the above no units ever "die"
